What's New​

• UI API Subscriptions, Billing & Seats: Institutions can now purchase seats with monthly or annual billing and choose how to pay — by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice). A new Dictate add-on can be added to Reporter seats for +CHF 30/seat/month and is free with annual billing.

  • Institutions must complete their invoice and billing details before buying seats; administrators with missing details see a reminder banner with a direct link to complete them
  • Administrators can manage their subscription (open the payment portal) and stop automatic renewal — seats then simply expire at their current validity end date
  • The seat overview now shows how each seat was acquired (e.g. subscription, invoice, onboarding) and whether it renews automatically
  • A new Winmed integration type is available

• UI Chat History: The chat feature now keeps a history of past conversations, so you can view and resume previous chats at any time. The "BETA" label has been removed as Haidy chat becomes a fully supported feature.

Improvements​

• AI Noticeably better dictation quality: Dictation and transcription have been significantly improved. Haidy now better understands the medical context of what you say and applies language-specific corrections, so your dictated text comes out noticeably cleaner and more accurate — with far fewer manual corrections needed afterwards.

• UI Faster report editor: The report page now loads faster, with content appearing immediately while report templates load in the background. The editor toolbar stays visible while scrolling (sticky), and the editor no longer flickers when streamed text finishes generating.

• UI Better ICD-10 coding overview: Treated findings are now listed before comorbidities in the ICD-10 coding panel.

• UI API Smarter administration tools: The users-without-access page now supports filters by seat status (no seat, no Dictate, no Reporter) and by recent logins. Maintenance windows are now validated (the admin tool warns when the end date is before the start date) and all windows — including past and inactive ones — are shown in the maintenance table.

• UI API More reliable integration patient linking: Integration patients are now linked more reliably using the external patient ID.

• UI Clearer audio retention handling: Changing the audio retention period now asks for confirmation before applying, protecting against accidental changes.

• API Security improvements: We've further strengthened security across the platform, improving how internal systems authenticate and reducing the risk of sensitive data exposure.

• API Performance improvements: Database queries have been optimized for faster data access across the platform — single-record lookups are more efficient, and new database indexes speed up common operations.

Bug Fixes​

• UI Report editor flicker: Fixed the end-of-generation flash where the editor briefly disappeared and the loading screen reappeared before becoming editable again.

• UI Stale report replay: Returning to a report no longer replays already-finished generations as ghost typing over an empty document.

• UI Report page loading: The report tab no longer blocks on a full-page spinner while templates load.

• UI Editor toolbar styling: The disabled state of the dictate and options buttons in the report editor toolbar has been redesigned for a consistent look.

• UI Admin users page: Fixed the variable initialization order that broke the /admin/users page.

• UI ICD-10 coding panel access: The ICD-10 coding panel is now available to all users of institutions with ICD-10 coding activated, not only administrators.

• UI API Conductor selection in consultations: When planning a consultation, any doctor in the patient group can now be selected as conductor, not just administrators.

What's New​

• UI Patient Cockpit Timeline View: A brand new visual timeline view has been added to the patient cockpit, making it easier to view and navigate a patient's medical history at a glance. The patient table has been streamlined, with quick access to the cockpit replacing the previous row action buttons.

  

• UI API Tags for Planned Consultations: Tags can now be added when planning consultations, helping to categorize and organize upcoming appointments. Tags are automatically carried over to the actual consultation when it begins.

  

• UI API Audio Retention Policy: Institution administrators can now configure how long audio recordings are kept before automatic deletion, with a default of 30 days. A clear message is shown when an audio recording is no longer available, and a nightly cleanup job handles the automatic deletion.

  The automatic deletion job is currently paused to give institutions time to review and configure their retention policy before enforcement begins.

• UI API Customizable Dictation Hotkeys: Users can now configure their own keyboard shortcuts for dictation from the user settings page. Multiple hotkeys can be defined for the same action — for example, both F1 and F2 can start dictation. The default remains F1.

  

• UI API Dictate Pricing & Annual Billing: We've done a lot of work behind the scenes to enable upcoming updates to our pricing and billing system — stay tuned for more details soon.

Improvements​

• UI Consultations Calendar Enhancements: The calendar now shows ISO week numbers, doctor names, and tags on entries for better context at a glance. Navigation is smoother with clickable day/week headers, native browser navigation, and a loading spinner during data fetches. A mobile-friendly table/calendar view toggle has been added for small screens.

  

  

• UI Redesigned Report Editor Toolbar: The report editor toolbar has been redesigned for a cleaner, more compact layout. Options like microphone selection, report check mode, reference toggle, and ICD-10 panel toggle have been moved into a dropdown, freeing up horizontal space. The ICD-10 panel is now hidden by default.

  

• UI Transcript Insertion UX: The report editor now stays visible while inserting transcripts, with a visual cursor showing the exact insertion position. Insertion is space-aware, ensuring proper formatting around the pasted text.

• UI Polished Confirmation Dialogs: Browser alert popups have been replaced with styled confirmation dialogs throughout the application, providing a more consistent and polished user experience when confirming destructive actions.

• UI Shared User Editing: A reusable EditUserModal component now powers user editing across all admin pages. Super admins can edit user names and languages directly from the institution users table, and the admin users page benefits from the same consistent interface.

Bug Fixes​

• UI User search in institution seats: The user search dropdown in the institution seats section now correctly performs remote searches instead of only showing the first 10 users.

• UI Report generation state: The report editor no longer shows a misleading "no report available" message while a report is actively being generated or streamed.

• UI Admin institution switching: Navigating between institutions in the admin panel now correctly loads fresh data and resets form state.

• UI Calendar date handling: Fixed several calendar bugs including the last day of the month being excluded from views and broken view mode switching when changing date ranges.

• API Cron job timeout: A nightly institution word replacement analysis job that was timing out has been fixed with a database index, ensuring reliable daily execution.

• API Integration security: We've further improved security measures for integrations across the platform.

What's New​

• UI API Live streaming report generation: Reports are now generated and displayed in real-time, with text appearing character by character as it's being written, so you can follow along with the AI's work instead of waiting for the full report to complete. This makes the report creation process feel faster and more interactive.

• UI API Revamped license management: We've completely overhauled how licenses work on the platform.

  What changed in detail

  Product-specific licenses: Licenses are no longer generic — there are now individual license types for each product, such as Reporter and Dictate. This means institutions can grant access to exactly the tools each user needs.

  Redesigned admin experience: The institution admin interface for managing licenses has been rebuilt from the ground up. It now includes product-type filtering, pagination for institutions with many users, and per-institution access toggles for dictation and reporter features.

  Personalized access: Licenses are now assigned to individual users, replacing the previous model where seats were not tied to specific people. This makes license tracking and management much clearer for institution admins.

  Seamless transition: A data migration grants all existing users free access to the Dictate tool until 31 July 2026, ensuring no interruption for current users during the transition.

  Institutional license management: A dedicated license management interface is now available for institutional clients, giving them full visibility and control over their users' product access.

  Updated onboarding: New users can now select which products they want to onboard for right from the start, rather than going through a one-size-fits-all setup.

• AI API Smarter chatbot with consultation history: The chatbot now remembers past consultations, allowing it to provide more contextually relevant and informed responses when you ask follow-up questions.

• UI Better dictation error handling: When no microphone is detected, Haidy now shows a clear "No microphone found" error message, helping users quickly identify and resolve audio setup issues.

• UI Updated report quality dashboard: The report quality monitoring dashboard in the admin panel has been refreshed with an improved layout and updated metrics.

• UI Glossary group timing: Personal glossary groups are now created at save time rather than appearing empty before any content exists, eliminating confusion from prematurely created empty groups.

• UI Admin route handling: Unauthenticated access to admin routes now correctly shows a 404 page instead of a blank white screen, providing clearer feedback when navigating to restricted pages.

What's New​

• UI AI API BETA ICD-10 codes panel in the consultation editor: A new panel lets you browse and assign ICD-10 diagnosis codes directly while writing reports. The AI automatically suggests relevant ICD-10 codes based on the consultation context, and the codes are also available via our API, streamlining the coding workflow end-to-end.

• UI Desktop integration: Haidy now communicates with the native desktop app via WebView2, notifying it when a consultation is approved so downstream actions can be triggered seamlessly.

  Technical details

  Consultation approval notification via WebView

  When the Haidy web application is embedded in a WebView2 control (e.g., in your Windows application), Haidy now automatically sends a message to the host application as soon as a consultation is approved. This eliminates the need for regular polling.

  How it works:

  Afterwards, you can retrieve the approved consultation as usual via the API at GET /v2/consultations.

  The existing API-based integration (polling of approved consultations as well as optional webhook notifications) remains unchanged.

Improvements​

• UI Smarter doctor search: The doctor search now filters results based on the patient's context, helping you find the right recipient faster.

• UI Redesigned Haidy Dictate download page: A cleaner, more intuitive layout for the Haidy Dictate download page (haidy.ch/download).

• UI Better error feedback: An info banner now clearly informs you when a patient file upload fails. The maintenance banner also no longer shows incorrect error states.

• UI Refined tooltips: Custom tooltips replace the previous library-based ones, providing a more consistent look and feel across the application.

• UI UX improvements based on user feedback: We conducted user studies and incorporated the feedback to improve the overall user experience across the application.

• API Smarter table parsing: The amount of context we can use is restricted, and tables often consumed a lot of context when they aligned columns using whitespace. In an example, over 17'000 whitespaces were present in a single table to align all the columns. Tables are now parsed more efficiently, leading to a dramatic size reduction in some cases.

• AI Improved audio transcription accuracy: The speech-to-text models have been upgraded, yielding to again around 0.5%–1.2% better word and match error rates across all languages.

Bug Fixes​

• UI Report editor fix: In some cases, editing the report in the report editor was broken when a reference was part of the edited report section. This has been fixed.

• API Empty transcript bubbles: In rare cases, longer audio transcripts produced empty bubbles when no speech was detected in the audio.

What's New​

• UI Press-and-hold F1 hotkey for dictation: Start dictation by pressing and holding the F1 key, release to stop. This faster, more intuitive way to dictate is available in the report editor, chat, and dictation pages.

• UI Dictation toolbar in reports: Access dictation controls directly from within the report view, keeping everything in one place. (You can also use the F1 hotkey here.)

• UI Resend OTP button: Super administrators who don't receive their one-time password can now request a new one without restarting the login process.

• AI Major audio model upgrade! The speech-to-text engine has been upgraded to a significantly improved model, trained on a medical dataset across Swiss German, German, Italian, French, and English — delivering much better transcription accuracy, speed, and quality across all dictation workflows.

• UI New Haidy Dictate webpage: A dedicated page for quickly dictating medical texts and copying them wherever you need them.

• UI Dictation in Haidy Chat: You can now dictate directly into the chat input box, allowing you to interact with it simply by speaking.

• UI Haidy Dictate desktop app: The desktop application lets you use a shortcut such as F1 to dictate text directly into any text box on your computer. Updates and rollouts are managed server-side through the API, with a download page for the latest version shipped on haidy.ch.

• UI Better microphone status feedback: Gray wavebars now visually indicate when the microphone is on but isn't receiving input — making it easier to tell at a glance whether the audio input is working properly.

• UI Report generation cancel button: A new cancel button lets you stop a report generation in progress whenever needed.

• UI Clearer consultation overview: Approved consultations are now correctly included in the patient's past consultations list, and planned consultations are sorted chronologically with the next upcoming consultation at the top for easier navigation.

• API Configurable external API logging: Whether request bodies and responses from external partner APIs are logged can now be configured on a per-customer deployment level, giving operators fine-grained control over what is captured.

• API Ongoing security hardening: Continued efforts to strengthen the platform's security posture as part of our regular hardening process.

• API Easier EHR configuration: Electronic health record integrations are now easier to configure, giving more flexibility to tailor the setup per deployment.

Bug Fixes​

• UI Report auto-generation during recording fixed: A bug where report generation would auto-start when opening the report tab while recording audio — preventing users from selecting their desired template — has been fixed. The template selection is now shown first, letting users confirm their choice before generation begins.

• API Upgraded LLM tracing: LLM observability tracing has been migrated to an improved backend, providing better monitoring and debugging capabilities.

• API Improved email subject formatting: Email subjects are now consistently clean and properly formatted, with stray newlines removed.

• UI Recently used templates: When selecting a report template, a new "Recently used" filter is now available, so you can quickly find the templates you've used most recently.

• API Faster report generation: The underlying LLM engine has been optimized, delivering reports around 1.7× faster than before.

• API Larger context capacity: The context understanding engine has been improved, allowing significantly more context to be submitted into a report generation than previously possible, resulting in more informed and comprehensive reports.

Bug Fixes​

• API More reliable file type detection: Uploaded files are now only classified as CSV when the system can confirm the format matches. Files that cannot be verified as CSV are correctly treated as plain text instead, preventing issues caused by misidentified file types.

• UI Smoother list editing in the editor: Tab and Shift+Tab now correctly indent and outdent list items. Pressing Enter inside a list item splits the line without leaving behind empty bullets or orphaned numbers. The list type indicator in the toolbar now only highlights the active list level rather than all nested levels at once. List nesting is also capped at 7 levels to keep documents well-structured.
